Sylvie Mombellet

Sylvie Mombellet is a French avocat admitted to the Rouen Bar in 2020 and an accredited mediator listed with the Cour d'Appel of Rouen, practising as a sole practitioner near Rouen, in Normandy. A former notary, she brings to her practice the technical grounding in property, matrimonial regimes and estates acquired in that profession.

Her practice is devoted to international private wealth law: matrimonial property regimes, successions, divorce and estate planning. She advises in particular on the liquidation of matrimonial property regimes — whether following a divorce or a change of matrimonial regime — and on the settlement of estates, both under French domestic law and under the French rules of private international law governing the applicable law and the competent court in those matters.

She also handles divorces by mutual consent by act of lawyer (divorce par consentement mutuel par acte d'avocat) and, as a mediator, is regularly involved in the amicable resolution of cross-border family and succession disputes.
